why did my baby naso die?
I am so sad. I bought a real small blonde naso tang a few weeks ago and it was doing ok. He had acted funny since I got him but he started acting a little better as time went on. He was eating ok. And then yesterday he started acting funny and he was staying hid and wouldn't eat. Then today he was hiding even more and still wouldn't eat. Then this afternoon I found him dieing with his face towards the sand and the back of his body going up. He did get these big white spots on him but I was told that was normal and the way he camaflouged himself. And they did go away. But yesterday they came back. IT was ick. These were big white spots. Anyway my boyfriend thinks that something internal was wrong with him when I got it. My other fish are doing great and the banggais even breed again 3 days ago.
Mt water parameters are as follows ammonia 0 nitrate 2.5 nitrite 0 ph 8.2 SG 1.025 phosphates .25 and the tank has been set up for almost a yr now with a lot of life from a 55 gal I had set up for 5 yrs This is a 125 gal. I have about 200 lbs of LR 3 to 4 inch sandbed and many many corals. |
