Well, I've been waiting for this day, and now I don't know what to do next. All advice is welcome.

Congrats GL, first go out and buy Joyce wilkerson's Clownfish book. And if you hope to raise the fry, get ready to do some green water cultures, and rotifer cultures, and brine shrimp cultures, need a fry grow out tank, a round container with a center standpipe works best. If you want more details, just ask me next time your at John's chat.

I agree, get Wilkerson's book immediately! Hey srgtkoons, I really like that round tank idea, any suggestions on what to use or how to make one? What's John's chat?

Round tanks for larvae growout are nicer, Its easier to get a gentle circluar water movement, and with no corners you dont get dead spots where bacteria can accumulate and cause problems for the fry. I used a rubbermaid tub that the bottom was smooth. There werent any ridges or indentations. Just drilled the whole for a bulkhead. Plumped it togeather with another rubbermaid for a sump, with some LR and LS. I covered the standpipe with a such and such micron screen, I cant remember, but the specifics are outlines in Wilkersons book. The screen doesnt let the rotifers and whatnot go through The main growout tank sits on a platform with the sump underneath. Not sure how well it works out, considering my ocelleris clowns havent spawned yet.
And John's chat is located at www.candybass.com, John is the bassman, good chat lotta good folks.
