Blue Spot Jawfish
I am thinking of putting a blue spot jawfish in my reef tank. Is it a godd idea.
I do not have a deep sand bed, but have lots of live rock. I have cleaner shrimp, so is he going to have them for breakfast? Basically is he agressive? I cannot find any books on him. |

Opistognathus rosenblatti is a Sea of Cortez jawfish. I don't believe they are aggressive but I don't think you should even consider one of these guys unless you have at least a 3" deep sand bed. They live in vertical burrows in the sand.
Here is the link to fishbase: http://www.fishbase.org/Summary/Spec...me=rosenblatti Here is the link to Fenner's site: http://www.wetwebmedia.com/jawfishe.htm Here is a link to Fossa's site (but it's in Norwegian): http://www.aquariumworld.com/norw/sa...gn_rosenbl.htm Ninong ![]()
