Just Moved In
|
Just got down moving over to my 75 from the 55 and everything looking great. Bought 3 green chromis yesterday and last night 1 of them was laying on the bottom by the rock breathing rapidly. I had to leave so didnt get him out. Today only 2 chromis swimming around and cant see the other anywhere. If I dont get it out, which im sure its dead, how bad is that, will I get spikes? Just dont want to have to take out the rock and look for it since I just got it all in and the sand is all calmed down. Will blue leg hermits or snails eat it? or will it just rot away?

Lauren,
In a 75 gallon I would not sweat the death of 1 chromis too much. Most likely the crabs will eat it in a day or less depending on how many crabs you have. I would check the Ammonia levels over the next few days but I don't think I would tear the tank down again to look for it. Tom ------------------ Toms Reef |
