Hi all,

The last few days something has eaten one of my toadstools and last night a ruddy great lump has been chewed off one that was taken as a cutting from the deceased,my other toadstool is quite large and hasn`t been looking too happy for the last few weeks so i assume that it has been receiving some unwanted attention.

I haven`t added anything to the tank for a long time now,any ideas?

I have heared stories of large brittlestars eating corals,and i have the green species that spans 14" across.

The last piece of coral that i added to the tank was xenia over 12 months ago,i have a copperband that now and again pecks an open brain coral although this doesn`t seem to bother it,and a powder blue tang that occasionally eats sections of xenia that has spread around the tank .

Any ideas??
