Pregnant Emeralds???

Hi Everyone

Does anyone know when emerald crabs reach sexual maturity? I bought one today and its about the size of a nickel....as I was watching it in the aquarium the underside of the crab seems to be filled with eggs?!?!?! Does this mean that I will have an outbreak of emerald crabs in my tank? Hopefully they will have a larvae stage first and get sucked up by my filter or my blue hermits can get to them....they really look like eggs...thousands of them on the underbelly....

Possibly i would assum that most of the youngs if carried to term would be quickly eaten by fish and hermit crabs. Along with being removed by the filter. I dont think it would be a problem.

A pic sure would be nice. I Would say that they do sound like eggs to me, but not 100% sure
