foxface has a white spot

on its side. It looks almost like a pimple. I haven't had him long. Before I bought him he was breathing hard and the LFS treated him with copper. He is eating well and just today this white bump has come up. Does anyone know what it is and what I can do for him. Other than the bump he appears to be fine except for being a bit skidish which I assume most foxfaces are atleast at the begining.

it sounds like it could be a touch of ich,but who knows?if i were you i would double check the water, and feed him heavily with foods soaked in selcon ,zoe and combisan(thats what i use anyway).im sure others will chime in with the garlic method too,ive never tried it so i dont know.hth

Rhonda J.

Where exactly is the white spot. My foxface has a white spot just after the black and white part. It is about 1/8 inch and has been there since I got him 4-5 months ago.

One white spot, even if it is ich is not something to worry about. Just wait and see what happens.

My foxface is still very nervous any sudden movement near the tank and he goes into hiding and changes to a grey colour.
