Exclamation Question on a problem..

Last month I had an out break of "red velet" and some kind of olive puke green algae. 3 of my corals had been effected.. my Green & Yellow star polups and my green button polups.. I am still fighting the stuff. But seem to be winning.. I do a 15-20 gallon water change every week, I have increased the output of my skimmer, added some calurpa and dropped in some seagel packets (carbon)..Things are starting to look much better in my tank.. The algea is being eliminated.. And my green star polups are growing and spreading once again.. The other 2 (Yellow star and Green button) seem to still be going the other way..All of my params are back down to normal. Yet I still cant get these guys to recover...Any ideas on how to help them out?

Tank..
75gal AGA
2 400watt 10k MH (6hours down from 10)
2 48" 03 VHOS (12hours too long?)
1 mag1200 (4' head 1000gph +-)
2 MJ 600
1.026
78-80F
C-Bal about 30ml every day of each A and B (moving towards pickling lime)
Iron (not to often.Just started it 2 weeks ago only dosed once)
was using iodine not sure if I should continue since I am changing the water so much and feeding twice a day.
I am also using a Tapwater DI unit...
What should my DKH be?

thanks

Hey mobius

Is the algae almost black? Cuz i had some that was a dark green/ almost black and pretty much am just now winning the battle as well....How much current do you have on the yell/green stars? maybe try to give them a tad bit more current? (alternating preferably) keep me informed if you fix it and let me know if anything you do....Im cutting back on my feedings and I have since added a sea swirl which appears to have helped it alot.

No the green algea is an olive color, yellowish green... It looks like pea soup or vomit.. I will try moving those corals around.. and see if that works..
