    Post Book Suggestions

    Hello Everyone,
I just got a gift certificate to barnesandnoble.com. And I was wondering if I could get some recommendations for some good books for the hobby.
    I currently have:
    -The Conscientious Marine Aquarist:
-The Complete Idiots Guide to Setting Up a Saltwater Aquarium
I have gotten, and read, from the local library:
    -Corals: A Quick Reference Guide
-The New Marine Aquarium: Step-by-Step Setup and Stocking Guide.
I know that there are a few series of books that are over $100. And would rather not get those ones, its not that BIG of a gift certificate.
And I am not sure if I would like a fish book or a corals book. Or maybe there is a good book that has both fish & corals out there??
    Thanks for your help,
    CaptK

Hmmm... this is a tough one. I just checked out www.bn.com and they don't have the new Borneman book. They don't even have Clownfishes by Joyce Wilkerson, which is very nice and under $25. They do have the first volume of the Scott Michael series, Reef Fishes, Vol. 1, but they want $55.96 for it which is about ten bucks more than most places. They have the first volume of the Fossa & Nilsen series, The Modern Coral Reef Aquarium, but their price is 8 bucks higher than other vendors.

    Good luck!

Natural Reef Aquariums by John Tullock is a very nice book,
also I'd have to recommend The Reef Aquarium Volume 1 by Charles Delbeek and Julian Sprung.

Dr. Burgess's Mini-Atlas. It's got pictures of hundreds of different fish, and sections on fish diseases, feeding, etc.

Wilkerson's Clownfishes is also excellent, if you can get it.
