Well, I finally ordered my lights today, 250w mh retor kit, anyway I was wondering if a bubble coral would do well in my tank? I also plan to leave in both speies of clowns too see what will happen if the sebea excepts the bubble. I also toook both damsels back, I didn't have the heart to take the yellow tang back, its now 4" high when fully expanded.
thanks all ------------------ Mikeman "When I was lost as a baby 2 clownfish found me and raised me in an anenome, I still can't keep them" |

We've got a Bubble coral in our 20g that's been doing just fine. We've had it in their for about 3 months now under PC lighting. The only thing I'd recommend is to keep it away from other corals, at least 6". They're very aggressive and will damage and/or kill them. FWIW

How would a bubble do with 2 55w pcs??? Oh and aragorn 9 rings for mortal men doomed to die, 7 rings for dwarfs in their stone halls, and 3 ring for elves( I forgot the last part) P.S. this is off the topic but I was just rereading the first one, and the 9 kings with the rings are the ringwraiths(Black Riders)you learn something every day ------------------ Mikeman "When I was lost as a baby 2 clownfish found me and raised me in an anenome, I still can't keep them" |

Three Rings for the Elven-kings under the sky,
Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone, Nine for Mortal Men doomed to die, One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne, In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie. One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them, One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie. And yes, your bubble should do just fine under 2 55watt PC's BTW, when your done reading the Trilogy again, check out The Silmarillion. It's awesome! Gives you alot of insight as to who and/or why things are the way they are in the 3rd Age of Middle Earth. ------------------ One Ring to rule them all. One Ring to find them. Bubble corals will do well under most light conditions.
They seem to do the best under moderate lighting but will adapt to just about anything. And yes..they are VERY aggressive. ------------------ Slash! |

Alright looks like I got my answer, hmm..... I'll have to read Silmarillion. Aragorn you should read the harry potter books, i know, i know, their kids books but they are the only books that have come close to the mark of the hobbits

Mikeman,
I agree with slash7, they are rather tolerant of different lighting situations. Just feed them. Regards, Scott ------------------ The definition of an expert is a washed-up drip under pressure. You can see my reeftank at http://www.homestead.com/spasse/ |
