Fluidized bed filtration
I tossed this out a few weeks ago and got, let me count now, oh yea, ZERO responses. NObody has an opinion???? I am in process of setting up a milti-tank system for trials at breeding clownfish, dotybacks and cleaner shrimp (and xenia grow out so I can post this on the reef site) and am thinking about using fluidized bed filtration, it seems pretty common in large lfs systems where the load is constantly changing. Any thoughts?

I have no experience with this type of filtration for multiple tanks with variable bioloads, nor do I know anyone who does. Sorry.
I haven't read any posts on the topic either in the past 6-8 months. |

Do you mean this thread: Fluidized Bed Filters? ?? If so, several people replied including myself. You were told that they were really nothing more than nitrate factories and to not waste your money...
