too many mushroom corals

I have green / brown mushroom corals that are taking over the tank. I do not want to get rid of the rocks they are adhered on. Is there any easy way of getting rid of some of them so they won't take over my tank?

I have 4 55watt pc's over a 55 gal tank. I stock soft corals.
