I have 4 bubble anenomes in a one tank. They werre doing fine for months. Eating well, good colors. shrinking and coming back once in a a while. One split into two and all were growing fast.
Last week I noticed that all of them shrunk all at once and are not coming back. The colors appear to be fine. Two of them have their mouths wide open. I do not know what may be wrong. One of the four really bubbled up before shrinking, one climebed up the sirface of the water. Perhaps trying to get more light.
I have 280 watts of light some actinic and some bright sun power compacts over a fully loaded 75 gallon tank.
The water parameters are fine. Calcium 400, alkalinity about 4.5.
Temperature 78. I add Iodine and Coral Vital once a week and phyto-plankton ata least twice a week.
Other corals are not showing problems. As a matter of fact, they are thriving.
What is happening to my anenomes? Can someone help? My pair of clowns do not know what do with each other now that they can sit inside the anenomes.
