Goniopora (yo yo)?
I was just at my LFS and they had a bright yellow coral they were calling a yellow yo yo coral? He said he thought it was related to goniopora or flower pot coral. He said they had never gotton this type before so didn't have much info. Has anyone had any experience or even heard of these?
I have found post talking about a yellow goniopora, but have not been able to find any pics. I actually resisted the urge to buy and decided to check with you all first. Thanks Mike |

I disagree on the alevepora, I have a freind who has had one for several years. He told me they ae much hardier and easier to keep. I like the flowerpots (goni) but I have never purchased one due to the lack of surviving. I have considered getting a aleve.. if I every ran across one.
I have not had experience myself with them but the friend is a very experinced reefer and my mentor in the hobby.

Ltspd,
You seem to be the only person who has ever heard of this then. I am chomping at the bit to purchase this, but...... Do you have any idea what it's real name is? I can't find yo yo coral mentioned anywhere on the net. Thanks, Mike |
