some Angel ?'s
Can dwarf angels be kept together? I remember reading that they would fight, once again i am prob. wrong. I was looking into: regal ,zebra, & bicolor Angel
anyone know someone who owns a regal tang? I read that the yhardly ever survive, and are strickly to advanced aquariusts. that true, 'cause they are beautiful! mark |

I wouldn't recommend putting two similarly sized angels in the same tank, i.e. two dwarfs. The may pester each other and cause alot of stress.

![]() I mean Regal Angel (Pygoplites diacanthus) Nice and Rare! They go for $79 from figi, and $125 from the Red Sea at www.themarinecenter.com. Quote:
So, I could get an dwarf angel, and say a larger species that still stays small, like the majestic angel? Which at 28 cm isnt all that big... (in my opinion anyway )Mark |

Mark, How big of a tank are you talking about?
IMO, a 12 INCH majestic angel is quite a big load in anything less than a 100/125...HTH...

now it is a 72 gal, but if i got anything that gets larger than 10" i will upgrade to 125 before they have a chance to reach that size!

I would forget the regal angel. They hardly ever eat in captivity and Bob Fenner lists them as one of the worst fish imported into the hobby in terms of living more than a week. Also, for angels above 10" I would say 250 gallons minimum.

I have a Lemonpeel and a Regal angel in my tank. They get along great never had a problem with them. But as i'm sure you know, they regal angel isnt for everybody. Do your research. Theyre wonderful fish and i wouldnt give him up for anything, but definately not easy. If you do want one, make sure you find one that is eating in the store. I mean REALLY eating, like devouring the food, not just picking at it. Mine eats anything i attempt to feed him: nori, angel and butterly mix, brine shrimp, but the two main things that make mine go crazy and seem to make everyone elses as a well are mysis and new life spectrum. If you do get one and it decides to be picky you can put a clam on the half shell that seems to do the trick. Good luck
