I have had a pair of false perculas for about 3 months. I went to check out the tank this morning and the percs had created a deep crater in my sandbed. They were just kind of sitting in this deep hole. My question is are they getting ready to breed or what? P.S.They still have not taken residence in my bubble tip anemone either, oh well.

They are "entrenching" they are getting ready to launch a blitzkrieg against one of your corals (check the surrounding area for mortar installations, machine guns, minefields, etc.) It's a bunker...

Hi,
I got a non-matched pair of false percs. Both were tank raised. One digs a hole every night to sleep, the other hangs out at the top. Later Drew |
