What do you all feed your SPS

Other than good MH lighting,good tank levels such as calcium and ALK what do you all feed your SPS. Example (DT,Golden Pearls,Tahitian Blend )

I don't directly feed any of my corals. I have a few tangs in the tank and I feed them a lot so that corals are getting fed but not directly.

I feed IPSF's coral heaven about every week or 2. I do add some golden pearls to the water. I also use cryopaste once a week. Along with DTs pytoplanton twice a week. I have 4 sunburst corals so I do spot feed atleast twice a week with some frozen foods or the coral heaven. I have many SPS corals and seven clams so the DTs are really important. Atleast Dr Ron says they are. And I trust whatever he says.

I grow my own phytoplankton which I feed daily. I also target feed Golden Pearls 3 times a week.

Well everyone I have finally started feeding Reef Solution along with the normal dose of DT? Let me tell you I have never seen my sps polyps extend so nicely. Much didny happen the first day I feed reef solutions but the second day is when it took effect. Thanks another reefer Sue Truett she suggested I try reef soulutions and so I did and so far I like it. Well besided the fact that it is very cosly about $13 per 265ml which according to the directions you should feed 1ml per 5 gallons of water on a daily bases and in my 125 gallon tank you can see how I can go through this stuff like water. I will not feed every day but I will continue feeding 2-3 times per week.. The stuff is like giving you dog a treat. HEHE..

I feed my tank pretty much what everyone else does....DT's and Golden Pearls....never had target fed the SPS but there is enough chances for them to get a slice of the pie

You are correct but phytoplankton feeds the critters that sps will eat. I have noticed a considerable increase in fauna in my tank since I started feeding phyto.

I actually tried my hand at making up some of Bornemans' Homemade Coral Ration (p.64 Aquarium Corals) but I'm waiting until I get my refugium on line before I start feeding in case there's a spike in my already borderline (15ppm) nitrates. Also, because my corals have been doing fine without direct feedings, I wonder if I'm violating the old "If it ain't broke..." rule. .

Reef Solutions is made by ecco-systems. Sue T. will swear over this stuff she has been feeding reef solutions along with other food like DT"s so her SPS tank alone should convince anyone.

I also use Golden Pearls. I just ordered a pound from Brine Shrimp Direct. I mix it with 2-capfuls of DTs. I have a 40gal. I feed about 3x a week. Hope this helps, I will tell Sue she is being called upon. Hopefully she will be getting her PC back soon. Thanks
