Mad Dog Skimmer? Any good?

Anyone out there know about this skimmer? Any good? I would like peoples feed back about skimmers. I have a 55 gallon tank, with a sump. Want to spend around less than $150, wondering what to get.

get a turboflotor1000 from marinedepot.com
there like 130 bucks. i use it in my reef and its worked great. doesnt overskim or underskim.
