I've seen a few of these roaming around my 46g and don't know the type. Anyone know what they are? They are about 1/4" to 1/2" and look pretty cool. I have a few more other strang looking snails in my tank and will try to take more pic's for everyone to ID. Thanks

Im just gonna guess out loud since no one else has
![]() Zebra Trochus? If you want to get a Positive ID then you could take a pic of the aperture then post it on Dr. Rons forum.....Im sure if anyone can ID it then he can! BTW beautiful macro shots! ![]()

Thanks for trying to help out. I found out what it is from the other reef boards and it's a Heliacus snail and it eats button polyps. D@mn, I was starting to like how it looked.
