rECOMMENDATIONS PLEASE.

65 GALLON WITH INTERNAL OVERFLOWS:MAG 9.5 PUMP, 29 GALLON ECOSYSTEM WITH DIVERSE MACROALGEA IN SUMP, 3 MAXI JET 600 ON WAVEMASTER PRO, LIGHTING: 2-250 WATT 10K MH WITH 2-55 WATT PC ACTINICS, 2 ICE CAP 4" FANS IN HOOD. LIGHTS ARE 8.5" OFF THE WATER.

hAVE 100# SOUTHDOWN(THANKS AMBULLDOG615) AND 52# OF FULLY CURED LIVE ROCK FROM AQUATIC TECHNOLOGY.

PARAMETERS: PH8.2-8.4 TEMP78-80 NH3-0 NO2-0 NO3-2.5PPM PO4-0 ALK3.2MEQ ALL RODI WATER WITH KALK FOR REPLACEMENT.

HOW MANY FISH TO KEEP GIVE THE FACT THAT THIS IS A SKIMMERLESS SYSTEM?

WE ARE SETTING UP THE 120 GALLON DOWN STAIRS IN DECEMBER AND PLAN TO USE ASKIMMER AND REFUGIUM TO SEE THE DIFFERENCE. ALSO THAT TANK WILL USE 400 WATT 6500 IWASAKIS, A 175 WATT 10K AND 2 55 WATT PC ACTINICS.

The fact that it is a skimmerless system will not hamper the amount of fish just the way you add them to the system.

you will have your bouts with algea, dont stop feeding just because of this your tank will need to get used to it ( The tank will need lots of time to figure out what to do with all the excess nutrients)

harvest the macro's in handfulls

I'm not sure about the foot print on your 65 but it looks like you could use at least another 100 pound of sand.........Since your tank is skimmerless a deep sand bed will help a lot.

foot print is36-18-22. Have an extra bag of southdown, maybe I will add it. geting ready to do first water change today.;
