It would seem the next logical number should be 84

What are you going to do with the lottery winnings? I'd spring for the 1hp chiller.

above is my first post
as i said temps over 80 ARE SOMETHING TO WORRY ABOUT
AND AS I IMPLIED ANYTHING OVER 82 IS COMPLETELY UNNACCEPTABLE IMO

So lets see if I got this right......anything over 80 is either Lucky or a Newbie? Anything over 82 is COMPLETELY UNNACCEPTABLE ?

Would anything over 84 be UNACCEPTABLY LUCKY or COMPLETELY NEWBIE

A Completely unnacceptable lucky Newbie is the correct term.

If we are low is that inversally proportional?

A uncomplete acceptable jinxed oldie

Boy, glad I am writing this down,

Wait now if you want a chiller, does that mean you want lower temps? hmmmmm me thinks that might go against the theory of luck. LMAO

man ,you guys are hilarious!

too bad neither of you can stick to the facts ,or have a single intelligent point of youre own to make on why temps should be what ,other than "everybody on the boards does it".i said anyone who running temps of 83 + is lucky(ill retract newbie once again),and sooner or later luck is gonna run out.ill reitterate, check with youre public aquariums and see where they run their temps, check with ANYONE except good doctor ron and biogeek, and see if they reccomend anything over 82 degrees.
my position is ,has ,and will be over 80 is risky/can cause problems ,over 82 is asking for it.
good luck
