I am interested in finding out some of the feeding scheduals and foods that are used for reef tanks. Can I get a few ideas on what foods you use and how often you use them? Also, where you purchase them would be helpful.
Thanks for the help. Vic |

VIC,
I feed 1 tsp. of Golden Pearls “Rotifer Size Golden Pearls 100-200 microns (Rotifer / Artemia Replacement)” daily. http://www.brineshrimpdirect.com/bri...brineshrimpa29 And I target feed my LPS corals tiger shrimp pieces or silversides once or twice a week. The golden pearls fuel the “bottom” of the food chain and the natural fauna in my systems feeds everything but the LPS corals and fish. (I don’t skim) I had to ramp up on my feeding of the golden pearls over 6 months or so. I you feed at this level from the beginning, you will be in for a nasty cyno and/or hair algae problem. Also my tank is 180-gallons. Regards, Scott ------------------ The definition of an expert is a washed-up drip under pressure. You can see my reeftank at http://www.homestead.com/spasse/ |
