OK I dont know what the heck is going on but im getting frustrated.. I have a couple pieces of my sps acro,monti that I have had in my tank for 3 weeks now and all the sudden last night I noticed that some of the poylps are turning white, I cant figure out why this is happening all my levels are good Calcuim=460, ALK=4.2, ammonia=0, Nitrites=0, Nitrates=10, PH=8.0-8.2
for lighting I have 3-250watt 65K, 2-actnic, 1-daytime powered by an icecap 660. Temp ranges from 77 in the morning to 81/82 with all lights on. I have a reactor that maintains my levels and for additives I at DT every other day and reef solutions every other day along with my daily feeding. Does anyone know what the heck is going on???? ![]()

I haven't seen that before but 2 things to try are;
1) 10-20% water change. 2) Direct a strong alternating water flow directly at the corals affected. PS: I still add iodine and strontium even though I have a large calcium reactor. Hope it's nothing serious, Kevin
