I added what was sold as a "Lime Green" leather to my reef a couple of days ago, and on the rock that the leather is attached to, is a small anthelia (3 or 4 stalks). The rock they are attached to is very small (3/4" in diameter, maybe 1"), so they are close to each other, almost touching.
My question is should I let them both grow like this? Should I try to remove the Anthelia from the rock and attach it elsewhere? If so, how do I remove it and reattach safely? Thanks, Rob |

I would remove it by cutting it with a sharp new razor blade, as close to the rock as possible and using superglue to attach it somewhere else on the reef. IMO

Regular plain-old drugstore variety superglue? Is that safe for a tank & for the coral? Can I just put a dab of glue directly on the coral?
Thanks |

We use gel superglue when we frag corals and have never had a problem.

Try home depot they sell a gel superglue (I forget the name) maybe future gel or something like that. It comes two small tubes to a package, the package is yellow and green and it is only 2-3 dollars. I have used this with SPS frags and it works great. Should be fine for softies.
