Just picked up this beautiful green brain at the LFS on the way home from work, and they couldn't give it an exact ID. Looks like a Wellsophyllia radiata to me. Am I right?

Rob,
Wellsophyllia genus has been eliminated (Borel Best and Hoeksema, 1987; Vernon, 1989, 1992, 1993). The genus now known as Trachphyllia and I will venture a guess that the species is radiata or maybe geoffroyi. The later being more fluorescent and free-living. I have had a geoffroyi for almost 4 years now. Yours is a beauty. Mine is red and green. I hope to find a green one as nice as yours. Regards, Kevin

I feed mine formula 1 or shrimp once a week just before or after the lights come on. They usually have tentacles extended at night. I'm not sure if radiata is the same. Let me know if it is.
