Good grief, did we run them all out of business?

Remember the good old days before Petopia went belly up? They were practically giving the stuff away.

Anyway, here is one possibility that you can compare with any others you come up with or with your local LFS: http://www.petsmart.com/psm_offers/10_off_30_HG/

Using that link to Petsmart will give you $10 off $30 or more. Click on Fish, then Satlwater Accessories, then Salt. The 200-gal bucket of Instant Ocean runs you $44.49 ($54.49 less your $10 off) plus $5.99 basic shipping plus $10.00 odd size surcharge = $60.48 total delivered.

That's a lot higher than all the bargains that were available several months ago, but it looks like all those guys went out of business.

I just called every LFS until I found the best price... AquaticTech has it for around $43/bucket. It's a little drive for me but worth it for the deal. I couldn't find anything to touch that on the web -- shipping costs too much on those heavy items.

I use to order from www.rcsteele.com I would order 4 bags of the 50g IO salt and would not be charged a oversize shipping. I ended up paying less per gal than ordering the 200g bucket and paying the oversized shipping charges.

Unfornutaly they caught on
