Weird worm
Can someone tell me what this is? The dark end of it telescopes pretty far, and quite fast as well. Scared the heck out of me when I was moving rocks around last night. I also found a freshly burrowed hole in my rock late last night. I think it may have been him. Is that possible? When I put him back in the tank, he went right under the substrate.

I do not know the name but at night I have many of these extending from the rockwork down into the substrate feeding (up to 3"). When I shine the flashlight on them they retract into the rockwork very quickly. They seem to be harmless.

Are peanut worms good or bad? If bad, are they bad enough to the point where I should tear down my rockwork again to catch him?
