Well this is my first attempt at raising the baby bangers. My male went through several aborted batches in my old tank but I guess with the new tank there was less commotion and he held to term.
Here are some pics of the babies: ![]() ![]() I'm raising baby brine shrimp right now to feed them and enriching them with tahitian blend cryopaste. Based on some success reported in the breeding forum I am trying to find some frozen prawn eggs to feed them but have been unsuccessful in locating them so far. Hopefully I can be as sucessful as some of the others on the board in raising these guys to maturity. FWIW, Nathan |

I know you probably know this already but in case you dont....A urchin (even a fake one) will increase their chances greatly for survival if you have fish/predators in the area. Good Luck....that must be so interesting
Keep us informed on yer losses and what kind of headway you make ![]()

Re: 22 Baby Bangaiis! Pics!
They are so cute!! Great pics. My Banghaiis spawn on a even cycle. I am on my 2nd batch of babies. They are a bit of time but I just love my little babies! Mine are 3 months old. I have not lost one baby. All 26 are doing fine. My Male is now holding another mouth full, I can see the babies peeping out! I house mine is a 20gal. long and do weekly water changes so that the amonia will not build up. Those babies love to eat!! Good Luck
