Hey Guys, will a percula clown be alright with a pair of clarkies in a 72 gal. with about 120# of LR? The percula is about the same size as the male clarkie with the female being about 30% larger...plenty of holes and caves but I wasn't sure if the clarkie will do a seek and destroy mission...Thanks
Sorry mods, wasn't getting a reply in F.O. forum and I needed an answer quick... ![]()

Personally, I wouldn't do it. Clarkii's can be downright nasty and I don't think a 72 offers enough space for them to keep adequate distance. I think the "search and destroy" theory just might hold true.

Ya, I was sure the two species didn't get along but was thinking that with all that LR they could have their own caves. I guess I'll bring the little fella back to the lfs. Thanks-

I have a maroon and a sebae clown together in a 220. To this day the maroon chases him, although not very often. They have both lived for a year like this and seem content enough. If I had to do it all over again, I would never mix 2 species of clowns as they are too territorial.

I brought him back to the lfs. It was in my wifes tank....she decided to not want the tank anymore. So all the LR went into my tank
Not a bad deal.
