LiquidLifePhytoplankton Anyone know of it?????
Hey all. I used to use DT's Phytoplankton. They they stopped carrying it at my lfs. I forgot about it. Saw it today at a different LFS and the owner who is a moron suggested trying a new product called LiquidLifeUSA
website at liquidlifeusa.com It has an even ratio of 1/3 1/3 1/3 of tetraselmis, nannochloropsis, and t-isochrysis(which if i recall was taken out of the orig DT's because of availability). The odd thing about this new product is a) it is frozen when not used but does not freeze. B) Is in a small container and it says 1 spray per 30 gallons per every other day. c) its 30 bucks so I refrained from getting it till I heard anything back. I read up on it on the site and in a pamphlet. Anyone use this product??? Know anything about it? Any comparisons with DT's? Thanks in advance Jason |

You are seeing an algae cryo-paste. The algae is treated with food grade preservatives that don't freeze so ice crystals don't hurt the cells. A similar product is sold by Brine shrimp Direct as Tahatian Blend. see http://brineshrimpdirect.com/brine%2...brineshrimpa23
For more info on this stuff check out http://www.seafarm.com

Yea, I use the stuff, can't say it's any better than DT's but then I can't say I see any difference between those two and kent marine Phytoplex as far as results go. The liquid life goes a long way and it is my first choice, I got into it as I am working on rotifer cultures and using it as supplement. What I really like is that there is a real person involved, Edward. He is in LA area and his phone number is on the ad pamphlet, you can call him up if you have any questions, he is helpful and informed. Forget the thirty bucks too (where the hell do you shop?). Go see Jared or Ron at Octopus Garden and they will hook you up. "Try it, you'll like it"

Cool thanks. Ya I know Ron at Octopuss. I was at tri city just browsing. I don't shop there. I generally frequent(its been a little while) aquatic warehouse and octopuss gardens. I went to aquatic warehouse the other day to get a new HQI bulb (had to have it that day) and saw how huge it was now. Thats how long it had been.
Thanks for the help with the phyto. Jason |
