Clam has bubbles around the rim

hello my maxium clam has bubbles around the rim of it. The clam is responded pretty good to light changes and quickly. If i turn the light out it will retract quickly so i think it is in good health. I have a 250 watt bulb over it with a ton of live rock. Other sps ad softies are growing good and look good. Not sure if the bubbles will hurt the clam.

Any ideas?

water flow is moving the outer rimof the clam a bit and i don't want to put to much current on it

thanks
