Hi All,
All of the little critter that came w/ my LR are now starting to appear. This morning I noticed two of the following, I think they were some type of nubrachi or cucumber: They were about 1/4'' long and a whitish color They had antennas on their heads They had all of these attachments on their backs that looked like spines, but they didn't look sharp. They also had what looked like a skinny tail. If these are identifiable are they good/bad guys? Thanks, CaptK |

Ya, it looks like they could grow up to look like that.
So whats the scoop on those guys, if they turn out to look like that. Good/bad? What do they eat? Thanks for the info! CaptK |

CaptK,
All nudibranchs are flesh eaters (carnivores). They feed on other inverts; sponges, soft corals, anemones, sea pens, bryozoans, ascidians and hydroids. Some are parasitic. Certain species are specific about their diet and feed only on a single or small selection of hosts, others are generalised browsers. The White Dendronotid is particularly fond of Tube Anemones.
