Got well water test results back...
There are two sections to the test:
1) Water Potability 2) Organics, Volatile Meth. 524 In the organics section (over a hundred of them) all came up ND. In the potability section I would like to list a few readings and have someone tell me if this water is ok for my tank... 1) Alk. 310.2--------------------31.8 mg/l 2) Ammonia Nitrogen 350.1------<0.10 mg/l 3) Calcium 3111B----------------4.47 mg/l 4) Chloride 4110B----------------2.71 mg/l 5) Free carbon dioxide-----------4.61 mg/l 6) Hardness-----------------------15.4 mg/l 7) Nitrate 4110B-----------------<0.10 mg/l 8) Nitrite 4110B------------------<0.05 mg/l 9) PH--------------------------7.1 S.U. 10) Specific Conductance-------90 umhos/cm 11) Sulfate 4110B-------------<10.0 mg/l 12) Turbidity------------------6 NTU 13) Iron----------------------0.12 mg/l 14) Magnesium 3111B---------1.04 mg/l 15) Manganese 200.8----------0.004 mg/l 16) Potassium------------------1.7 mg/l 17) Sodium----------------------6.07 mg/l Would appreciate anyone who can take a look at these readings and tell me if I need some serious filtration. Thanks a whole lot! ![]() Sorry mods if I posted in the wrong forum.

It all looks fine to me.
It's a fair amount of iron, but I add far more than that with no problem. It's also likely to precipitate in seawater since it's not chelated to an organic. Checking for silica and phosphate is worthwhile.
