I noticed you're from St. Pete, what LFS do you go to? I like PetMart (no S) on Bay Pines Blvd. Also go to Aquatic Wonders on Park Blvd. |

I prefer Petmart--there alot cheaper then Jason at Aquatic Wonders Do you live in St.Pete?---If so do you have any SPS corals you might wanna trade? |

Yes, I live in St. Pete, but unfortunately I don't have any SPS at all. All I have in my tanks right now are some mushroom corals.....sorry....

How much did it cost you for that tank as it sits. Beautiful. This is kind of what I am thinking of going with. Do you have problems with cooling. What kind of filtration are you using?

after 3 years of caring for it and stocking, about 3k--give or take
My tank gets hot, about 85 in florida during the Fall season daylight hours. My living room has a ceiling fan and central AC-thats all I have for cooling.During the hot summer mos. Ive seen temps as high as 88-90---tons of evaporation as you might expect. If I had a hood on this tank there would be some problems with heat, it does cool off quite fast for being a small system and having the open top.
