My favorites are Baja, Trocus grazers and Nassarius. I believe the rule of thumb is one snail(of each species) per gallon of water.

Premium Aquatics has a very good assortment of snails and pretty good prices on them.

Two is only loosely associated with two by a plus sign and therefore doesn't enter the equation at all since it is only there by mere complicity. We shouldn't count it and leave well enough alone.

I've recently purchased some Red Moon Snails. I've only had them for a few days, but I'm very impressed with the work they do. They're a bit like Mexican Turbos for size and cleaning ability. I have 10 of them and they do a superb job of keeping the glass clean on my 75. They also add a bit of color to my Pseudopod collection.

I'm partial to the mexican turbos, they can eat huge amounts of algae. Their only drawback is that they are somewhat clumsy. Mine have started breeding, I now have 3 little turbo snails in the tank, about this big #. I'm guessing this is a fairly common occurance?
I just saw some bumble bee snails at the LFS today, my first time seeing them. I was wondering if anyone keeps these, and are they good to have?

Be carefull with these. I've read that they are a cold water species and die quickly in the average aquarium. I must admit that they sure look cool.

My favs are stomatella, trochus, nassarius, and strombus. 1 snail per gallon is to high, after your tank matures alot of snails will die. I have to feed my nassarius snails, as I dont have any fish.

Well, never mind on the bumble bee snails, I just did a search on them and found out they are predators. They will eat worms in the sandbed and also grazing snails. Oh well, they were kinda cute, but.........

*sigh* figures. As near as I can tell these are from Mexico. They must be from the Baja side. They sure do work hard. I'll let you know how long they last.
