Is this a finger leather?

Hey all,
...it was sold as a "tree coral", no one knew anything about it, imagine that. I swear it's a finger leather but wanted a second opinion.

He just woke up so he's sleepy looking, not fully open yet.

Thanks!

I believe you are correct: it is a finger leather. I have one just like it. Its polyps will start to appear in a few days when it becomes acclimated to the tank.

Thanks Rheinhold for confirming my suspicion. I mean "tree" coral is pretty broad. I assume it has the same requirements as most leathers? Any thing special I should know?

Thanks for the help

They seem pretty easy to me. I feed Micro-Vert to the tank twice per week. It likes medium current and medium light, at least in my tank.

WOW!! that's a fast grower, I have two both are the size of canteloupes when they are open. Ill have to start fragging them in no time!

My other one was yellow when I bought it but now it is a flourescent green, really cool looking. The blue one in the pic was white when I got it, what color was yours at first? Did it change colors?

Thanks that would be cool, never seen a pink one. Have you done anything special to get it to grow so rapidly? What do you feed it?

That is what I had been hearing too. So I bought a bottle. Hope everything in my tank is happy that I did. Everything looks good.
