Has anyone had any luck with a dwarf lion in their reef tanks?
Has anyone had any luck with a dwarf lion in their reef tanks?
I had a very nice dwarf lion in my 60g for three years until the tank was torn down. He ate 2 damsels over that time and probably took a couple of small inverts. I kept him well few and varied his diet on fresh cut foods.
"Never enough aquariums in a room."
I have had a dwarf now for 10 months... and he is doing great. When I bought him he was really small (i would say about 1-11/4 inches long...he is right around 2 1/2 inches long (of course...give me a break...this are kinda approx...since he wont stop and lay next to the ruler...YET!He seems to be doing great! About 2 months ago i noticed he was getting sorta fat... was feeding him 2 times a week (frozen silver fish)... so i cut down to once a week.... a couple of weeks ago i caught him eating flake food!!!!! and some frozen stuff i feed the two tomato clowns!!!! HE IS A PIG! From what i read though...i can consider myself lucky . I am still waiting for him to "take" the two neon gobies "out" for dinner one night... they were in the tank when i got him.... so...i am guessing they are still too fast for him!
