I have one that just started growing on it's own in the corner of my tank which is almost a "dead" area, hardly any current. I've never bought one, I just noticed this one a couple days ago... kinda kewl

I have a bunch of little ones growing out of the rock in different places...but this one i bought today is huge!!!!!

well I know that sometimes more current can be a substitute for food, so if you're feeding your tank enough, you probably don't need a ton of current. At the same time it's not going to hurt to have a lot of flow.

I have found that they need just enough to get their dusters blown a bit. In a dead area, they don't seem to be happy, and like more current. I have had them do some wierd things in high current areas too. Just enough current so they lightly blow around like a flag in a gentle wind.
