Question Will ricordia sting xenias?

Hi Hobbyists,
I'm wondering if anyone knows if ricordia sting. If so, will they sting xenias? Thanks for your time.

Ricordia mushrooms have quite a potent sting. I can't say whether or not they will sting xenia, but I'd be willing to bet that they do. I think the only other corals that you might want to let the ricordia touch would be other mushrooms. A good way to tell is to see how the xenia reacts when it is touching the ricordia. Does the xenia look close or retracted? if so, then I would try to seperate the corals further from each other.

I would agree. I think you'd have to observe to know for sure, but they can sting and annoy nearby dwellers. HTH
