I've done water a 20% water change every other day
since last Saturday, and my pH won't come down from 8.8. Need help and more options. (using distilled water to replace it) |

Have you tried any additives like PH Down? If everything looks ok dont do anything drastic.

pH down? never heard of it, but I'll look for that stuff
tomorrow. My snails have become very docile and a couple crabs died. |

My ligts go on roughly 12-13 hours a day. Will cutting that down help lower pH?
Did another water change this morning, and it's still the same. ![]() |
