I recently had to remove my sump from my 120 reef. The tank is in the livingroom and the noise was interfearing with the TV. It was either move the entire reef or go sumpless. I've been sumpless for about 6 months now and the tank looks none worse for the wear. Infact with the addition of tons of tiny fan worms and several new sponges, the tank, one might say, looks even better. The one thing that is driving me nuts though is that I have to make up a gallon of water every day. I used to have the RO connected to a float valve. Now I have to add it by hand and it's really taking away from my enjoyment. So I was just curious if anyone was using some type of top off that could be hooked up directly to a RO filter.

i use a large rubbermaid in the basement and a peristaltic pump with float. When i didn't have a sump, i mounted the float to the tank and it worked great. I filled the 32 gallon container every 15 to 20 days.
