i have blue legs, snails, and a halloween crab. skimmer, and a powerhead. candy coral, xenia (that's about dead... i need to revive it somehow), and galaxia. i need to know how to stop this outbreak before it gets out of hand.. thanks. ------------------ http://www.relentless.nu "Always remember, that way you'll never forget" - Joey from the Jungle Cruise in Walt Disney World. Pastejohn,
The brown diatom stage usually immediately follows your initial nitrogen cycle. See if you can get someone to baby-sit you corals until this stage is past. Corals are typically not to be added until the system has been running several months, at least. You are rushing your system. What are your parameters, i.e. ammonia, nitrite, nitrate? well, its been cycled for a lil while now... but i will just let it get over it. all my nitrates, etc, check out ... although the nitrates are a little more, but not much. i will just let the crabs have a feast. :]
thanks for the help. ------------------ http://www.relentless.nu "Always remember, that way you'll never forget" - Joey from the Jungle Cruise in Walt Disney World. "Air - it's everywhere you want to be!" - Joey from Jungle Cruise in Walt Disney World |
