Thank you for all the nice replies and warm welcome. This tak was setup in June of 1999. It is 36 long 20 high and 15 wide (in inches). I use a ice cap 660 and pfo 400 watt for my ballasts. I have no sump or refugium due to limited space. I have a rubbermaid container in the laundry room which I am using as a refugium of sorts (not connected to the main tank). I drip kalwasser and add buffer and phytoplankton. I do alot of small water changes everyweek (about 5 to 7 gallons spread out over the week). I use a big mombasa protein skimmer (usually works well) and 4 maxijets for circulation. I use a wave strip as my wavemaker. All in all a pretty basic setup. When I move and upgrade in size , I get a few more gadgets. I got my corals from several Bay Area reefers and a couple of different lfs. Ii prefer to buy from a hobbyist though.
Organic I live near Bezerkley. |

Scubadude, I just got the camera and I'm still learning how to use it., My wife and I are very pleased with it! Nikon is giving a 100 dollar mail in rebate on this camera.
