How frequently can i do water changes to get my nitrate/nitrite under controll. I did one yesterday, should i let the tank rest for day before i do another one or do another one today?

Thanks

I am doing 30% changes, about 1 gallon in my tank. The Leves in my tank are really high. Ammonia has come all the way down to .25 but Nitrite is 5.0 and nitrate is at 80.
