Red face Need Help!! Bristle Worm Sting!

hi,
I just got stung by a bristle worm and I can see little bristles stuck in my finger. It stings and I've remember reading somewhere that I should run it under the hotteset water I can stand. Is that true? Should I try and pluck the bristles out or just break them? Thanks!!!!

I used a pair of tweezers and a magnifying glass and and picked them out. They just iched like fiberglass to me. After removing the hairs it felt much better and was gone by the next morning.

HTH,
Kevin

I have also used duct tape to pull them out, and yes you want to put it under very hot water (as hot as you can stand for a few minutes

I read somewhere that meat tenderizer (Accent) will help with the irritation.

Soak it in Vinegar. It will help dissolve the remaining bristles. I speak from experience.
