hi,
I just got stung by a bristle worm and I can see little bristles stuck in my finger. It stings and I've remember reading somewhere that I should run it under the hotteset water I can stand. Is that true? Should I try and pluck the bristles out or just break them? Thanks!!!! |

I used a pair of tweezers and a magnifying glass and and picked them out. They just iched like fiberglass to me. After removing the hairs it felt much better and was gone by the next morning.

I have also used duct tape to pull them out, and yes you want to put it under very hot water (as hot as you can stand for a few minutes

I read somewhere that meat tenderizer (Accent) will help with the irritation.

Soak it in Vinegar. It will help dissolve the remaining bristles. I speak from experience.
