Question what is the best technique to frag yellow polyps

I have been fragging my xenias pretty well by cutting them with a razor and fastening with the pieces of the net-like bag that comes with my onions and rubberbands. I want to start fragging my yellow polyps and was wondering what is your take on it.
Thanks for any info!!!!!

just put a small rock next to the colony of polyps and they will move to the rock them selves.

If you don't want to wait for them to spread naturally, or they start growing on top of each other (like mine did), they can be removed, intact, from the rock they are on. I use a pair of forceps and/or a knife tip to pry them off. (The rock mine are on is easily removable - I generally do my fragging out of the water with a bowl nearby as a holding bath.) The polyps pull way in, but you will find that many are still clumped together. I pat them dry and superglue them to their new home. Hold gently for 30 sec, and stick 'em back in the tank. These guys are pretty hardy.

If yours are harder to get to, or on a big piece of base rock, you can still use this method, it is just more difficult.

HTH

BTW if you just want them to spread for you, aim a powerhead where you want them to go. It will speed the process.
