How to tell the differnce
How can I tell the differnce between True percula clownfish and the Ocellaris clowns? I have a pair and one a little more yellowish as the other one is more orange both of there strips are outlined in black

They can be hard to distinguish. In general the true percula has thicker black margins on the stripes than the ocellaris.
One near-sure way to tell is to count the dorsal spines of the fish. The percula and ocellaris have different numbers. I don't remember the exact numbers, someone else can probably post them for you. But good luck trying to count them! Also, the price of the fish may be telling. If you paid about $10 or less, it's probably ocellaris. $25-30 and it should be a true perc.
