I have a Korallin C3002 calcium reactor and I like it fine although I think I will be needing a second chamber. I used a tiny powerhead to feed the pump instead of using gravity. I started at 10 bubbles a min. 6 months ago but now am at 26 bpm as my sps load has increased. I found I needed to add buffer to keep the alk and PH up after a few months. I am making my own with Arm&Hammer baking soda and washing soda @6:1.
I think you're really going to like it

Regards,
Kevin

Is the effluent at the beginning supposed to be white? Is it supposed to be white afterwards or rather cleaR?

Right now, its really quite white. I have it turned off....

Mine is clear. There should have been a filter pad to prevent the media from getting into the delivery line. I would just run it into a bowl for a couple of min. wide open to see if it clears up. I started with a 30 drips a min. on the delivery and about 5-10 drips on the auto vent line.

HTH,
Kevin

Got the effluent flowing just over a fast drip and of a bubble rate of 10/min.

Ill see how this does....

Jason

I think you will find it's worth every penny you spent. I believe it's as valuable as my skimmer. Not just some fancey gadget

Good luck,
Kevin

hopefully it will work as good as I thought it would......its being broken in but I can already tell my corals look good. Everything is expanded and larger than normal....I guess the best is yet to come
