Help! Anthellia problems

Well I came home from work to find peices of anthelia floating around the tank. I have had these well over a year now and all of the sudden pieces are missing parts of the finger type tentacles are missing. It looks to be the work of a crab or possibly a hitchhiker pistol shrimp. I added a mushroom colony and a piece of coral last week but besides that everything has been in there for a long time. Would a pistol shrimp eat anthelia? I don't think it is my fish either I have a strawberry psuedochromis, a Scott's fairy wrasse, two percs, peppermint shrimp, and a green chromis. I have set traps so we will see in the morning. Anybody else ever have this problem???
