new clam pics

Went to preuss again. They had more O.R.A. clams so I go another one. This makes three. I have a total of six.

OK, it's very nice, but what size is it and how much did you pay?

Inquiring minds want to know this sort of stuff.

It is 4 inches and I paid 50.00 for it. It is the most I have paid for a clam. I only paid 55.00 for the montipora. Well I'm on my way to the troicorm. Will have pics when I get home.

That's not bad. One of the LFS down here has a very nice 3.5" T. maxima (the only clam in the entire store, which tells you something about their vast selection of livestock ) and they want $69 for it.

The next clam I get will be either a turqouis green or a black mantle clam. I am looking at saltwaterstore.com and coralfarm.com for them. I only want 1-2 more small ones in this tank. What was that show, "eight is enough"?

Mrok- nice lookin clams you got there! I like! Hey I went to Preuss for the first time yesterday and MAN was I impressed! that place is INCREDIBLE!!!! it's huge and the selection was awesome. The only problem was the place was really crowded and I don't think they have enough people working there. Some guy named Luke helped me out. He was really cool and seemed to know a lot. I guess Brian wasn't working yesterday. I bought a ton of stuff though... I mean how could I not?? lol. I picked up some live rock, a nice pink devils hand leather, a plate coral, and one of the nicest pagoda's I've ever seen! I wish I had a digital camera so I could show you guys. I think I'm going to try and barrow one from a friend. My only complaint about Preuss is that I think they are a bit on the expensive side. Maybe it was just my imagination. I guess it's worth it though to have a great quality fish store like that in the area.
